Beacon is fully compliant with NIST Special Publication 800-171, which outlines mandatory cybersecurity requirements for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in non-federal systems and organizations. This framework was developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to safeguard sensitive information shared by federal agencies with external contractors and partners. Compliance involves implementing 110 security controls across 14 categories, including access control, incident response, system integrity, and personnel security.
